The basics
What Are Fascias and Soffits?
Your fascias and soffits are the boards that run along the bottom edge of your roof — the roofline. The fascia is the vertical board the guttering is fixed to. The soffit is the horizontal board tucked underneath, bridging the gap between the fascia and the wall.
Together they do three jobs: they protect the ends of your roof rafters from weather and rot, they support your guttering, and they provide ventilation into the roof space to prevent condensation. When they fail — usually because old timber has rotted behind peeling paint — the damage can spread into the roof structure itself.
Across Worcester and Worcestershire, thousands of homes still have timber fascias and soffits that were fitted decades ago. Most are well past their best. Modern UPVC replacement is the clean, low-maintenance answer — and it sharpens the look of a property considerably.

Options
Styles & Colours Available
We install a range of UPVC profiles and finishes. These are the most popular choices for Worcestershire properties.
Fascia profiles
Ogee
A decorative sculpted profile with a curved S-shape edge. The most popular choice — adds character and a premium finish to traditional and modern homes alike.
Square
A clean, sharp-edged modern profile. Ideal for contemporary properties and new builds where a minimalist look is wanted.
Bullnose
A softly rounded front edge. A classic, understated profile that suits period properties and more traditional rooflines.
Colours
White
The standard finish — bright, clean and the most popular choice across Worcestershire.
Black
A bold, modern contrast finish. Increasingly popular on contemporary builds and dark-clad properties.
Woodgrain
A rich, timber-look finish in golden oak or rosewood. Gives the warmth of wood with zero maintenance.

Questions answered
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does fascia and soffit replacement cost in Worcester?+
For a typical semi-detached property in Worcester, full fascia and soffit replacement costs between £1,800 and £3,000. Smaller mid-terraces start from around £1,200, while larger detached homes can reach £4,500. We provide a free, written, itemised quote so you know the exact cost before any work begins.
How long do UPVC fascias and soffits last?+
Quality UPVC fascias and soffits, professionally installed, should last 25 to 40 years with virtually no maintenance. Unlike timber they do not rot, warp or need repainting — an occasional wash keeps them looking new. This is why UPVC is our recommendation for the vast majority of Worcestershire homes.
How long does installation take?+
A standard semi-detached property usually takes 1 to 2 days. Larger detached homes or bungalows may take 2 to 3 days. We work efficiently and tidy up each day, so disruption is kept to an absolute minimum.
What materials do you use?+
We install premium UPVC fascias, soffits and bargeboards in white, black and woodgrain finishes. We use quality extrusions from trusted suppliers, stainless fixings, and correctly specified guttering. We do not fit cheap, thin boards — they fail and look poor within a few years.
Can you replace guttering at the same time?+
Yes — and we usually recommend it. Replacing guttering alongside fascias and soffits is far more cost-effective than doing it later, because the scaffolding or access equipment is already in place. New UPVC gutters and downpipes can be included in your quote.
Do you cover areas outside Worcester?+
Yes. We carry out fascia and soffit replacement across all of Worcestershire — including Malvern, Droitwich, Pershore, Evesham, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Kidderminster, Stourport-on-Severn and Tewkesbury. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, just give us a call.
